B-Pulse Post-Childbirth

Discover the Benefits of B-Pulse:  A non-invasive way to help your body recover from child birth.

The pelvic floor muscles may weaken during pregnancy and childbirth, leading to incontinence and decreased sexual function. B-Pulse boosts cellular energy, which aids in muscle repair and strengthening. This empowers new mothers to regain control over their pelvic floor, enhancing their quality of life.

B-Pulse Chair Therapy is a Health Canada approved device that is made in Canada. The B-Pulse chair is a non-invasive device which mimics Kegel exercises, at the rate of 13,000 in 3

B-Pulse uses PEMF (Pulsed Electromagnetic Field) to interact with the body, stimulating the pelvic floor muscles and promote ion exchange, regulated circulation and increased oxygen to cells.

Personalized care just for you. We tailor each treatment to your unique needs, ensuring maximum effectiveness. Our qualified team members will conduct a thorough assessment to provide care  that aligns with your specific goals.

The B-Pulse is comfortable and convenient. You remain fully clothed throughout your 30-minute treatment. Simply sit back and relax, no special preparation required.

How can B-Pulse support postpartum recovery?

Pregnancy and childbirth place significant physical stress on the body. Many new mothers experience issues with their pelvic floor muscles, and we’re here to assist!  Weakness in this area can diminish your quality of life and restrict your freedom. With B-Pulse, we can effectively help clients regain their sense of normalcy.

The B-Pulse chair utilizes PEMF technology to deliver electronic pulses that stimulate the contraction of pelvic floor muscles. This treatment enhances muscle tone, structure, and tightness. Typically, individuals will experience a tingling sensation and muscle contractions during the session, but it is entirely pain-free.

PEMF Therapy improves blood circulation, oxygenation, and accelerates healing. This therapy can shorten postpartum recovery time for pelvic health by reducing swelling and alleviating pain. Its anti-inflammatory properties help new mothers return to their daily activities and promote recovery.

Why do I need a strong pelvic floor?

Strengthening the pelvic floor is essential for maintaining good pelvic health, preventing various health problems, and improving overall quality of life. B-Pulse is an effective solution to achieve these goals through deep and targeted muscle contractions.  Number of sessions are suggestions and each person reacts differently to treatments.

Post-Childbirth Recovery:

After childbirth, pelvic muscles can be weakened or damaged, they work hard during labour. Strengthening the pelvic floor aids in recovery and the restoration of normal function, which includes involuntary urinary leakage.

Prevention of Urinary Leakage:

A strong pelvic floor helps prevent urinary leakage by supporting the bladder and urethra. This is particularly important after childbirth and during menopause. Do you notice urinary leakage when you laugh, cough, sneeze or even when exercising? A strong pelvic floor leads to improvement of incontinence and reduces the times you need to get up in the middle of the night up in the to urinate.

Improvement of Sexual Function:

Strong pelvic muscles can enhance sexual sensation and orgasms. They contribute to better blood circulation and increased sensitivity, beneficial for both men and women.

Support of Pelvic Organs:

The pelvic floor supports internal organs such as the bladder, uterus, and intestines. Strengthening these muscles can prevent issues like pelvic organ prolapse (POP), where organs descend from their normal position. POP doesn't discriminate against gender, both women and men are affected.  Some of the causes are indeed gender related, such as childbirth, hysterectomy and hormone changes during menopause.  Women can be affected by POP because of other conditions and habits that strain pelvic floor muscles that lead to POP.  These include; ongoing constipation and straining during bowel movements, continual coughing caused by smoking or lung disease, and very high-impact exercise or activities that require heavy lifting.

Reduction of Lower Back and Pelvic Pain:

A strong pelvic floor can help stabilize the pelvis and lumbar regions, thereby reducing pain in the lower back and pelvic area.  This is especially important for those who have an occupation where they sit most of time.

Improvement of Posture and Stability:

Pelvic muscles play a key role in posture and body stability. A strengthened pelvic floor can enhance balance and overall posture.   Good posture strengthens both your pelvic floor and other core muscles.  One begets the other, it is a cycle that improves flexibility and even helps with breathing.

Prevention of Constipation:

Strong pelvic muscles facilitate bowel movements and can help prevent constipation by supporting digestive organs.

Important information on conditions and contraindications:

If you have any of the following conditions contraindications you are not eligible for B-Pulse Therapy:

B-Pulse treatments (PEMF Therapy) should not be used if you are pregnant.  Limited research on the effect of PEMF on fetal development is available, therefore, even if you think you may be pregnant, or if you are trying to get pregnant you are not eligible for B-Pulse treatments.  You should wait 6 weeks after child birth to start B-Pulse treatments.
