My name is Tharshiga Elankeeran and I am a registered psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. I completed my M.A. in Counselling Psychology at McGill University (Montreal, Quebec). I also teach at George Brown College to help foster a new generation of healers. In addition to my professional experiences, I co-founded Abuse Never Becomes Us (ANBU), a Toronto-based charity that works with survivors of childhood sexual abuse.
I have experience working with people that have depression, anxiety, panic attacks, addictions, eating concerns, body image issues, concurrent disorders, family concerns, grief, partner conflict, domestic abuse, interpersonal conflicts, behavioral issues, anger management, sexuality issues and trauma.
Together, we can understand the root cause of your issues, nurture it back to vitality, and you will feel the ripple effect on all parts of your life. It takes a lot of courage to begin this journey inside of yourself. I hope you will allow me to be a part of that journey.
